To aid in fixing to your barrel it may help to gently warm the barrel with a hairdryer in advance to gain best adhesion from the self adhesive glue, remove the rear adhesive protector and apply firm pressure when fixing to the barrel until the entire strip is attached. Do not warm the rifle barrel with blowlamps or gas/map torches as this may cause damage to the barrel.
